4000103-510 is an original factory pre-terminated shielded cable assembly exclusively designed for Triconex Tricon TMR safety instrumented systems. It serves as the standard interconnection cable between Tricon series I/O modules (AI/AO/DI/DO) and FTA external termination panels, solving messy on-site temporary wiring and improving the overall stability of safety control loops.
The cable adopts shielded twisted pair (STP) integral shielding structure, which effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk generated by inverters, large motors and high-voltage equipment in chemical, power and oil & gas plants, ensuring undistorted transmission of analog and digital safety signals to meet strict SIS signal integrity requirements.
Dual industrial multi-pin locking connectors are pre-crimped at both ends: one male plug directly locks into the rear connector of Tricon I/O module, the other female connector docks with the FTA terminal board, realizing quick plug-and-free disassembly without field wire stripping and crimping operations, greatly shortening cabinet wiring construction and maintenance time.
